The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves without a solution for the defending NBA champions Denver Nuggets, as they've lost the first three games of their first-round matchup in the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green shared his perspective on the situation via his podcast, drawing a comparison to the recently concluded boxing match between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney earlier this month.

In the analogy, Green compared the Nuggets to Garcia in a boxing match, noting that Garcia remained unscathed despite taking Haney's best shots.

The Nuggets seemed assured of victory in the series because they could withstand the Lakers' best punch.

"You've given us your best shot, and it can't hurt us.. Their best shot can't take us out," the four-time NBA champion explained.

The Nuggets took Game 3 vs the Lakers on the road last Thursday, April 25.

Nuggets make NBA history in another comeback win

The Nuggets staged another impressive comeback from a double-digit deficit to take a commanding 3-0 series lead, a feat that etched NBA history in the process.

By accomplishing this, the Nuggets joined an elite group as only the fourth team in NBA history to win the first three games of a series after trailing at halftime in each game.

The Lakers' woes against the Nuggets continue, extending their losing streak to 11 consecutive games dating back to January 2023.
