WWE star and former Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley delivered a powerful message directed at Becky Lynch, who claimed the title Ripley had relinquished due to injury.
During the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, held on April 22 at the Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio, a battle royal featuring 15 participants determined the new Women's World Champion.
Lynch last eliminated Liv Morgan, who had caused Ripley's injury, to capture the title, prompting some fiery remarks from the former champion.
"The forever runner up and the interim champ. #WWERAW," the 27-year-old Australian posted on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
The 37-year-old Lynch secured her seventh women's world title reign in WWE and her fifth reign with this particular belt, formerly known as the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship.
Ripley vacated the title during last week's RAW edition after sustaining a shoulder injury the week prior.
Becky Lynch avenges brutal WrestleMania 40 loss
Lynch previously faced off for the title against Ripley in the opening match of WrestleMania 40 on April 6 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
Despite Lynch's valiant effort, Ripley retained the title via pinfall after a grueling 17-minute match.
It was later revealed that the Irish-American wrestler was battling an illness during the bout, yet she persisted and competed despite being hobbled.
