Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is in high demand from major brands seeking to align themselves with her unprecedented popularity.
The top overall pick of this year's WNBA Draft is set to sign a new lucrative endorsement deal with sportswear brand Nike, according to a report by Shams Charania, Mike Vorkunov, and Ben Pickman of The Athletic.
The deal is reportedly valued in the eight figures, and Clark is also expected to receive her signature shoe as part of the arrangement.
Rival brands Adidas and Under Armour also extended substantial offers to the 22-year-old, but she ultimately declined them in favor of the Swoosh brand.

Clark will join New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu at Nike, who released a widely acclaimed debut signature sneaker with the brand in 2023.
In addition to the sportswear giant, the six-foot point guard has endorsement deals with insurance agency State Farm, trading card company Panini America, and energy drink Gatorade, among others.
Caitlin Clark was already a Nike athlete before new deal
Clark was already under a NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deal with Nike since October 2022, which ended after the college basketball season earlier this month.
The Oregon-based company produced several advertising campaigns featuring the former Iowa Hawkeyes star during her sensational final collegiate season.
Notably, a unique billboard was placed in Iowa City after she broke the NCAA's all-time leading scoring record.
