Indiana Fever Feel Caitlin Clark Effect With Expensive Ticket Prices

The Indiana Fever is buzzing with excitement as they anticipate the arrival of Caitlin Clark.

The hype surrounding Clark has led to skyrocketing ticket prices as fans eagerly await the debut season of the NCAA's all-time leading scorer in the WNBA.

The WNBA's top 10 most expensive regular season games this year based on median prices will feature the Indiana Fever, as reported by the secondary ticket reselling platform Gametime.

The July 14 game between the Fever and the Minnesota Lynx at the Target Center in Minneapolis stands out as the priciest WNBA game on the secondary market, commanding a median ticket price of $615.

That game narrowly surpasses the Fever's road game against the Chicago Sky on June 23, which boasts a median ticket price of $600.

This matchup is notable as the Sky recently drafted Clark's college rival, former LSU Tigers star Angel Reese, and reigning NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player Kamilla Cardoso.

Clark's first WNBA regular season game will be on the road against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, May 14. It is the tenth most expensive game of the season, with a median ticket price of $233.

Caitlin Clark's jersey sells out

In addition to game tickets, there's immense demand for Caitlin Clark's Fever jerseys.

The former Iowa star's number 22 Indiana Fever jersey became the best-selling jersey ever for a draft pick on any draft night across all sports, according to sports retailer Fanatics.

The feat exceeded the sales of quarterback Trevor Lawrence's Jacksonville Jaguars jersey during the 2021 NFL Draft.
