Stefon Diggs has found a new home with the Houston Texans after being traded by the Buffalo Bills, with whom he stayed for four seasons.
The 30-year-old wide receiver arrives in Houston along with a 2024 NFL sixth-round draft pick and a 2025 NFL draft fifth-round selection, while the Bills get a second-round selection in the 2025 draft.
In 2023, fellow NFL pros rated him the 16th-best player entering the new season.
He lived up to expectations, posting 107 receptions (7th in the league) for 1,183 yards (13th) and eight touchdowns (tied for 8th).

Bills general manager Brandon Beane admits that losing Diggs was a hard decision and did not improve their roster.
"Let's be patient and let us work through this," he added, "Was it easy? No. But if you make the best decision for the Bills moving forward, that's what you do. And you trust that."
Diggs had been playing well even before 2023, breaking records here and there. He was, in fact, a Pro Bowl member in all of his seasons with the Bills.
The Bills rewarded him with a four-year, $96 million contract extension in 2022.
However, the Texans will not pay him that after the news of the restructuring of his contract.
Stefon Diggs' Contract Details
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Texans will not inherit the three years remaining from Diggs' deal with the Bills.
Instead, the Texans are giving him the opportunity to become a free agent by 2025.
"As part of the Buffalo-Houston trade, the Texans wiped out the final three years on Diggs' contract, giving him the ability to become a free agent after this season," Schefter wrote on X.
"The Texans also took the $3.5 million guaranteed to Diggs next season and moved up into this season, giving him a raise and assuring him of $22.52 million in guaranteed money in 2024. But if Diggs plays the way he wants, and Houston hopes, he will hit the free-agent market next offseason with the ability to make it count. Houston now anticipates getting the best version of Stefon Diggs."
This means the Texans want him to deserve his first-year contract and see what comes next.
For Diggs, he is set to receive bigger money than what he was supposed to get as part of the Bills.
In 2024, he had a guaranteed salary of $18.5 million, $4 million lower than what he will be getting now.
The veteran could strike a much bigger deal if all goes well for him and the Texans.
It will be exciting to see how he will excel in his new role.
He and Josh Allen had a great partnership for four seasons, and now, he will serve as both a mentor and offensive target for 2023 super rookie CJ Stroud.
The 2023 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year is expected to have a breakout season, and Diggs' addition will be huge for him.
