The finalists for the Naismith Women's College Player of the Year Award were announced last week, as we are a day away from the winner being announced.

Iowa Hawkeyes Caitlin Clark, headlines the fields of girls who can walk away with the prestigious award by season end.

Whoever wins this year's College Player of the Year Award will join a list that includes Cheryl Miller, Lisa Leslie, Brenna Stewart, and Maya Moore; along other legendary names in the sport of NCAA Women's Basketball.

Iowa's Caitlin Clark won the National Player of the Year Award last season and seems like a lock to go back to back.

The current Big Ten Player of the Year is fresh off a season in which she dominated the court and the record books. With an average of 31.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game, Caitlin Clark has become the all-time leading scorer in NCAA women's basketball history along with breaking Pistol Pete Maravich's all-time NCAA scoring career.

She has led her Hawkeyes to three Big Ten Championships and could join a list of others who have won the award on multiple occasions.

Naismith Women's College Player of the Year Award: Cameron Brink

Stanford's Cameron Brink had a strong season for the Cardinals, averaging 17 points, 12 rebounds, and a nation-leading 3.6 blocks per game.

She has racked up numerous awards in what might be her final season at Stanford, including Pac-12 Player of the Year and winning Defensive Player of the Year in the conference.

Naismith Women's College Player of the Year Award: Paige Bueckers

UConn's Paige Bueckers has had a dominant season after returning from a torn ACL. She averaged 21.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.4 blocks per contest.

Bueckers played a massive role in UConn's dominance in the Big East, scoring 20 points or more 26 times to lead the league.

Naismith Women's College Player of the Year Award: JuJu Watkins

USC's JuJu Watkins was sensational in her first year and capped off her year off by becoming the runner-up National Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year.

She was named the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year, averaging 26.9 points per game, which was second best to Caitlin Clark's 31 per game..

JuJu Watkins broke USC's scoring record by dropping 51 against Stanford, and she is one of only five Pac-12 players to tally at least 750 points, 150 rebounds, and 50 steals in a season.
