It's funny how the tables have turned. After tweeting about how terrible it was to lose to the Detroit Pistons two months back, Kyle Kuzma is haunted by his own team's struggles.

The Wizards are now the worst team in the NBA 2023-2024 season after dropping to 11-55. Pistons are currently 12-53.

Their latest loss came from the Houston Rockets, 119-135.

They did not record a win in February and, at one point, lost 16 straight games.

Kuzma and his team are now the butt of jokes among fans and players.

Tari Eason continues to miss games for the Houston Rockets, which means he spends plenty of time on social media.

The sophomore power forward trolled Kuzma, using the veteran's own tweet against the Pistons back in December, in which he suggested that losing to lowly Detroit is the worst thing that could happen to a team.

"It's like at this point don't be that team," Eason wrote on X.

His tweet earned the laughs from other users.

Eason has every right to tweet like that now. In his rookie year, the Houston Rockets won just 22 games, tied with the San Antonio Spurs as the worst team in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Wizards can tie the fifth-worst regular season record in NBA history if they fail to win another game until April.

Tari Eason injury update

Tari Eason is a character; fans are here to see more of his tweets.

He has a lot of time for that, as he is officially out for the season for an injury he incurred in early January.

He hasn't seen court time since January 2, 2024, against the Detroit Pistons, where he scored 17 points in under 24 minutes.

The latest Tari Eason injury update from coach Ime Udoka suggested that surgery is next for his recovery.

"According to Udoka, a benign growth was found on Eason's left shinbone," Rockets' sideline reporter Vanessa Richardson reported last March 3.

"While it was considered a pain tolerance issue, it was ultimately determined that the second-year forward should undergo surgery. A rod will be inserted into the bone, and Eason faces a fourth-month recovery timeline."

His recovery timeline suggests he will be ready by the time the next season starts.

Right now, the Rockets are still working to reach the playoffs, something they haven't done since the 2019-2020 season when they still had James Harden.

Young players and a slew of serviceable veterans in Fred Van Vleet and Dillon Brooks now anchor the team.

Jalen Green, the team's second-round draft pick in 2021, continues to improve. He scored 37 points against the Wizards.

The roads get a little tricky, though, as aside from Eason, the team's leading scorer, Alfred Sengun, is also out after suffering a severely sprained ankle and a bone bruise on his knee.

Cam Whitmore, who produces 12.1 points a game while providing stifling defense, will also be out for three weeks after sustaining a Grade 3 ankle sprain.
