Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan celebrated a historic milestone in his career with an outstanding performance against the Indiana Pacers on the road last Wednesday, March 13, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The 34-year-old entered the game ranked 35th on the NBA's all-time scoring list with 23,134 points.
However, following a remarkable 46-point performance, he concluded the night in 32nd place with 23,180 points, surpassing three Hall of Famers in Adrian Dantley (23,177), Dwyane Wade (23,165), and Elgin Baylor (23,149) during a single game.
DeRozan displayed remarkable efficiency, shooting 15-of-24 from the field while contributing nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block.
The six-time NBA All-Star's stellar performance helped the Bulls narrowly defeat the Pacers in overtime with a final score of 132-129.

DeMar DeRozan forced overtime with baseline jumper
Further solidifying his historic night, DeRozan nailed a tightly contested baseline jumper buzzer beater at the end of the fourth quarter, tying the game at 117 and forcing an extra period at the end of regulation.
"You embrace those moments. For me, I just thrive off those moments. I'm not scared to fail. I'm not scared to try to make something happen. I want those moments more than anything," DeRozan said after the thriller.
The three-time All-NBA member's next target is Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who currently occupies the 31st spot on the NBA's all-time scoring list with 23,302 points.
