Five-time NBA All-Star John Wall has voiced his interest in joining prominent Eastern Conference contender Miami Heat, stating he believes he could make significant contributions to the team.
The 33-year-old made these comments during an appearance on the latest episode of The OGs podcast, which is hosted by former Miami Heat players Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller.
"1,000 percent. I talk about that all the time. You know what I mean? Just feel like I can help them a lot," the former first-overall pick said when asked if he would be open to playing in South Beach.

The 2017 All-NBA Third Team member also commended the Heat's acquisition of point guard Terry Rozier, who joined the team via trade at the end of January.
"I think getting [Terry Rozier] was a great piece for them...somebody that can make plays and pick 'n roll for them, but even if I didn't start, coming off the bench, I think I could be another person that can help them and impact them," Wall added.
John Wall has not played in the NBA this season
Wall hasn't competed in the NBA since the 2022-23 season, during which he played 34 regular-season games for the Los Angeles Clippers.
In his latest season, the 2015 NBA All-Defensive Second Team member averaged 11.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game, shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 30.3 percent from three-point range in 22.2 minutes per game.
