The Tennessee Titans have signed free agent wide receiver Calvin Ridley to an attractive four-year deal valued at $92 million. According to league insider Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, this contract includes $50 million in guaranteed money.
David Mulugheta and Reza Hesam from the agency Athletes First were the negotiators behind this deal, which provides the 29-year-old with an opportunity for a new beginning in Nashville.
The former Alabama player will join a receiving corps that includes talents such as DeAndre Hopkins, Chris Moore, and Treylon Burks.
The Titans finished last season with a 6-11 record, placing fourth in the AFC South.

Calvin Ridley suspended for the entire 2022 NFL season
During the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Ridley was technically under contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
However, he only participated in the latter year due to a suspension for violating the NFL's gambling policy, resulting in him missing the entire 2022 campaign.
An investigation revealed that Ridley placed bets on NFL games during a five-day period in November 2021, including games involving his former team, the Atlanta Falcons.
Following his suspension, Ridley took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to acknowledge making bets totaling $1,500 but asserted that he does not have a gambling problem.
Ridley's comeback season in 2023 was solid. He recorded 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and 8 touchdowns in all 17 regular-season games.
