Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic responded brashly and confidently to the harsh chants from the Detroit Pistons fans during their game last Saturday, March 9, at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
The 25-year-old Slovenian was the target of vicious "Luka sucks" chants throughout the game, in which the Mavericks emerged victorious with the final score of 142-124.
"I don't know why would they do that. I love it. They know it's not true, and they keep going, so I don't know," the five-time NBA All-Star said about the crowd's choice of words.
Widely regarded as a prime 2023-24 NBA MVP candidate and one of the best players in the entire league today, Doncic is already considered one of the greatest European players in NBA history despite his young age.
