Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning has decided not to be included among the college football players who have agreed to be featured in the upcoming video game EA Sports College Football 25.
The 18-year-old's decision not to opt into the game is reportedly due to his desire to prioritize his focus on on-field football activities, according to football reporter for Orangebloods.com, Anwar Richardson.
Scheduled for a summer 2024 release, the upcoming video game is set to include all 134 FBS teams.
EA has revealed that over 10,000 athletes have already chosen to be part of the game, and those who opt-in will receive at least $600 and a complimentary copy of the game.
During his freshman season at Texas, Manning had limited playing time, completing two passes for 30 yards while serving as the backup to Quinn Ewers.
The incoming second-year player is a member of the esteemed Manning football lineage. He is the son of Cooper Manning and the nephew of both Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning.

Arch Manning has one of the highest NIL valuations in college sports
Despite his limited on-field experience thus far, Manning holds the fifth-highest Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) valuation in college sports, amounting to $2.8 million, per college sports news outlet On3.
The 6-foot-4 signal caller only trails leader USC Trojans guard Bronny James, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, LSU Tigers gymnast Olivia Dunne, and Iowa Hawkeyes point guard Caitlin Clark.
