After an abysmal 6-11 season, the Tennessee Titans find themselves retooling the team after missing the playoffs for the second time in a row.

The Titans franchise, being in the up and coming AFC South Division, will definitely look to reinvent themselves in an attempt to catch up with the rest of the division.

Tennessee Titans: Mike Vrabel Out, New Coach In

The Titans made waves yesterday by surprisingly firing their head coach Mike Vrabel, after six seasons with the team.

Vrabel was hired by the Titans back in 2018 and coached the team to three playoff appearances and a trip to the AFC Championship game in 2019, falling to the eventual Super Bowl Champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite the early success, Vrabel couldn't sustain a winning culture as his team failed to make the playoffs in back to back seasons.

The franchise decided to go in another direction and reset the clock after two seasons of missing the playoffs and no real answer at the quarterback position.

Tennessee Titans: Who's the Quarterback?

The starting quarterback job for the Titans may be up in the air after Ryan Tannehill mentioned he may have played his last game in Tennessee.

"I understand the business side of things, and obviously, we all know what happened this year. So, it doesn't take much foresight to see that (I won't be back)," said Tannehill, according to reporter Paul Kuharsky.

"It was a fun day," Tannehill had told Buck Reising of AtoZ Sports. "For a lot of different reasons, but to be able to finish the season out, finish my time out here with a win, was a lot of fun and felt really good."

His departure from the franchise may lead to a race to see who will be the guy starting in Week 1 of the NFL 2024 season.

Over the past two seasons, the Titans took two young quarterbacks in the NFL Draft, Will Levis out of the University of Kentucky in the 2023 NFL Draft and Malik Willis out of Liberty in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Titans leaned more toward Will Levis being the quarterback going forward, getting the starting nod for them in Week 8 this season. Throughout the 2023 season, Levis threw for 1,8081 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions.

However, it is still too early to rule out the possibility of Malik Willis possibly winning the job over him later down the line.

Tennessee Titans: Future Without Derrick Henry

After several strong seasons with the Titans, running back Derrick Henry may be on the way out of Tennessee.

Shortly after the Titans' epic win against their division rival, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Derrick Henry sent a heartfelt message to the Titans faithful in the arena, possibly alluding to his time with the franchise being over.

Henry arrived in Tennessee as a 2016 second-round pick after his collegiate years having played for Nick Saban in Alabama.

Throughout his time with the Titans, Henry has established himself as one of the best running backs in the NFL. King Henry became the eighth player in NFL history to cross the 2,000 rushing yards mark in a single season. He also has hit the 1,000 rushing yards mark in five out of his eight seasons with the Titans, as Henry has been the heart and soul of the team's offense.

It is clear that Henry has a lot left in the tank and can still produce at a high level in the NFL. Despite being in his 30s, the colossal running back still put up a productive 2023 season. Rushing for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns while only missing two games over this past season.

If this is the end of Derrick Henry's time with the Tennessee Titans, he will be walking away with a final win as well as being placed in the franchise's lore as one of their best running backs of the decade.
