WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has solidified his position as a leading babyface in the company since his return to the promotion in 2022.

Known as "The American Nightmare," Rhodes has consistently gone above and beyond to interact with fans at live events, ensuring they have unforgettable experiences.

Here are some of the most memorable gestures that the 38-year-old wrestler has made to fans.

Cody Rhodes' Top Wholesome Moments With Fans

1. Cody Rhodes saves ruined Father's Day gift.

Earlier this year, fan Dustin Woods bought WWE tickets for a Father's Day event in Charleston, West Virginia, hoping to take his five-year-old son to see Rhodes.

However, plans took a turn when Woods discovered that "The American Nightmare," would no longer be part of the Charleston lineup.

Disheartened by this update, Woods decided to sell the tickets, hoping to at least recover some of the expenses incurred for the trip. Surprisingly, Rhodes was added back a week before the event.

Upon learning this, Woods reached out to Rhodes on social media, sharing his story and the disappointment faced by his young son.

In a heartwarming gesture, Rhodes, who was set to face Finn Bálor at the event, generously provided Woods and his family with tickets to the show.

2. Cody Rhodes brighten's young girl's night.

During a WWE Smackdown event in November, a young fan named Liberty, coincidentally sharing a name with Rhodes' daughter, created a sign expressing her admiration for the wrestler.

Unfortunately, WWE officials confiscated the sign during the event, causing the young girl to cry. In a heartwarming response, Rhodes gifted her a plushie and personally greeted and hugged her during the show, transforming her initial heartbreak into "the best night ever."

3. Cody Rhodes accepts request to be fan's best man on his wedding.

At a WWE live event in Spokane, Washington last January 6, Rhodes secured a win against Shinsuke Nakamura.

While cutting a promo post-match, he noticed a fan's sign inviting the American Nightmare to serve as the Best Man at their forthcoming wedding. Cody happily accepted the invitation, eliciting cheers from the thrilled Washington audience.

4. Cody Rhodes brings The Wrestling Club to WrestleMania 40.

KIPP AMP Middle School in Brooklyn hosts The Wrestling Club, founded by teacher Victor Taylor Perry, where students bond over their shared love for professional wrestling.

In November 2023, Perry initiated a fundraiser to send the club to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

One of the club members sought community support on social media, urging people to either buy popcorn or make a donation to help the club attend WrestleMania.

Rhodes, made aware of the fundraiser, took a generous step by covering the expenses for tickets and hotels in an announcement made in January 2024.

"I never had anything like that growing up and wish I did. What I like most about TWC is the sense of community. Wrestling is more popular than ever, but when it wasn't it was difficult to find and connect with people as passionate about wrestling as you were," Rhodes commented in an interview.
