Now that we are through the first week of the NFL Fantasy Football Playoffs; hopefully your team has advanced to the second round. If not, you may still be bitter from your loss and rooting for your successor's downfall. Here are a few players that came in clutch for Fantasy Football teams throughout NFL Week 15.

NFL Fantasy Football Playoff Heroes

To no one's surprise, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey blew up the stat sheet in NFL Week 15. McCaffrey must've got the memo that Fantasy Football playoffs started because he racked in almost 42 fantasy points this week. It'd be pretty hard not to have advanced to the semi-finals of your championship run with McCaffrey in your lineup.

Honorable Mention: Buffalo Bills running back James Cook put up 36 fantasy points as Buffalo finally found their running game.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff finds his footing and gets his Lions back on track from earlier this season. He put up 31 fantasy football points in his routing of the Denver Broncos.

Honorable Mention: Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield stunned the Green Bay Packers. Mayfield posted 29 points as he threw for the most yards out of all quarterbacks in NFL Week 15.

Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison proved that he is still a viable part of the Vikings offense even with both WR1 Justin Jefferson returning and third string quarterback Nick Mullens playing. Addison put up 29 fantasy football points in the overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Honorable Mention: Miami Dolphins wideout Jaylen Waddle bursted for 28 fantasy points against the New York Jets defense. In the absence of fellow wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Waddle proved to be able to hold the WR1 name when needed.

Going hand and hand, Lions rookie tight end Sam LaPorta joined Detroit quarterback Jared Goff amongst top scorers in NFL Week 15. LaPorta racked in 28 fantasy football points as most of Detroit's offense had a great outing against the Broncos.

Honorable Mention: Cleveland Browns David Njoku. In the Browns miraculous win against the Chicago Bears, quarterback Joe Flacco has made it clear that Njoku is one of his favorite targets. The Cleveland tight end finished the day with 26 fantasy points.

It is no question that the Las Vegas Raiders were the best fantasy football defense of NFL Week 15. They embarrassed the Justin Herbert-less Los Angeles Chargers. The Raiders defense hung 25 fantasy points this week and also got Chargers head coach Brandon Staley fired.

Honorable Mention: Miami Dolphins defense shut out the New York Jets. Miami smothered the Jets offense and compiled 22 fantasy football points.

Finally the forgotten fantasy football position, the kicker. Houston Texans Ka'imi Fairbairn posted 17 points in the overtime win against the Tennessee Titans. I doubt anyone thought to start him with Texans star rookie quarterback CJ Stroud not playing in Week 15.

Honorable Mention: Arizona Cardinals kicker Matt Prater went for 14 fantasy football points. Nothing much to say on his game, the Cardinals did their best to hang with the 49ers.
