NFL veteran quarterback Joe Flacco will get the chance to win another Super Bowl title, as the 38-year-old play-caller agreed to a one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns.

Flacco signed a one-year deal with the Browns on Thursday, December 14. The pact includes $4.05 million of incentives based on winning, per a source via Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The scribe added that the Super Bowl XLVII MVP will make $75,000 should he lead the Browns to a win in their remaining four regular season games.

The money Flacco stands to get grows from there. He stands to make $250,000 for a wild-card win, $500,000 for a divisional playoff win, $1 million for an AFC Championship game win, and $2 million for a Super Bowl win.

The deal is good only until the end of this season, meaning Flacco will be a free agent once more in the offseason.

How Flacco got here

Flacco was brought in after Deshaun Watson saw his season end with a right shoulder injury. He was first signed to the practice squad before getting elevated to the active roster, the San Diego Tribune reported.

He was instrumental in the Browns' 31-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday, December 10. Flacco threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns while helping Cleveland (8-5) stay ahead of the pack in the AFC wild-card standings, CBS Sports reported.

The signing also means other NFL teams can no longer get him from the Browns. But it appears Flacco is content being in Cleveland, even if some team would have tried to get him.

"I wouldn't have went though, anyway," he said. "It's been great here."
