The result of the Chiefs vs. Bills match in Week 14 had many Kansas fans infuriated as they suffered their fifth defeat and first back-to-back losses of the season.
Kansas City Chiefs came in as favorites to win the match. However, the win went the Buffalo Bills' way, 20-17.
Emotions were high during the match, but none was more heated than Patrick Mahomes. He was not after a fellow player but officials who, according to some viewers, were the ones who decided the game instead of the players.
The Chiefs' star quarterback tried to salvage the win for his team but only to be thwarted by an offside penalty in the dying seconds.
Mahomes sent the ball to Travis Kelce, who then sent it to Kadarius Toney via a cross-field lateral, only to be called an offside. The call erased a 49-yard touchdown that would've been huge for the Chiefs' comeback attempt.

After the final whistle, Mahomes came after the refs and said things he regretted later. "More than anything I regretted the way I acted toward Josh after the game because he had nothing to do with it," he said through 610 Sports KC. "I was still hot and emotional, but you can't do that man, Not a great example for kids watching the game."

Mahomes is just one of many players whose emotions got the best of him this season. The 2023 NFL season is filled with moments that will go down in history, either as players being passionate or just down right out of line.
1. New York Giants vs Buffalo Bills
The week 6 game between the Giants and Bills almost became a free-for-all. Those involved were New York's Kayvon Thibodeaux, Leonard Williams, and Dexter Lawrence and Buffalo's Dion Dawkins. The altercation occurred right after Latavius Murray's first down in the third quarter. Giants' Kayvon Thibodeaux was down on the ground and started kicking Bills players, who tried to attack him. Cooler heads prevailed, and the Bills eventually won the game, 14-9.

2. DK Metcalf vs Fred Warmer, Deommodore Lenoir
This does not involve multiple players from both teams but just between wide receiver DK Metcalf and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir.
The Week 14 match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks, which the latter won 28-16, was marred by the altercation.
It occurred in the fourth quarter when Metcalf slammed 49ers linebacker Fred Warner. Lenoir came to his defense, and many players got involved trying to de-escalate.
Eventually, it was just Metcalf and Lenoir who got ejected.
3. Pre-game fracas 49ers vs Browns
Players usually get heated in the middle of the game, but it was different between the 49ers and the Cleveland Browns during Week 6.
Several Browns players were standing near the area of the 49ers during the pre-game. Some players started having words with each other, and the shoving followed.
San Francisco's Deebo Samuel was seen pushing another player. It's a good thing it was de-escalated with 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams and Brandon Aiyuk stepping up as the pacifier.
Later in the game, several players shouted, "You don't cross that line!" referring to the incident.
4. Cowboys and Chargers pre-game fight
The Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Chargers were still warming up, but players were heated even before the first whistle.
Players from both teams met each other in the middle of the field. There was a staredown, and words were said, although nobody was punished.
The NFL released a statement warning against fighting shortly after this incident.
