College Football Playoffs are set and invited into the tournament are Michigan Wolverines, Washington Huskies, Texas Longhorns, and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Wolverines will clash with the Crimson Tide, while the other pairing will see the Huskies go up against the Longhorns.
This year's selection was controversial as Florida State Seminoles missed out on the CFP despite their undefeated season.
Alabama, the lowest seed in the CPF according to ESPN, is being pointed to as the most undeserving in the lot of Final Four.
They are the benefactors of the snub on the Seminoles, which, according to the selection committee, was mainly due to the season-ending injury of Jordan Travis.
Regardless of the people's view of Alabama, the Crimson Tide is raring to prove naysayers wrong.
They could win it for three reasons:
1. Nick Saban
Nick Saban is a CFP savant. The Hall of Fame coach has been very efficient for the Crimson Tide since taking over in 2007. They have never gone three seasons without a national championship game.
As for this season, Saban believes they have improved drastically after losing by 10 points to Texas at home last September.
"We won 11 games in a row and beat the No. 1 team in the country, so we're not the same team that we were when we played Texas earlier in the season," Saban said. "We were kinda in transition at the quarterback position. It was unsettling. I think it affected our team."
Even the Wolverines know Alabama is a tough draw.
The Tides are coming in hot, and they have one month to prepare against Michigan. A win against Georgia Bulldogs is a great confidence booster as Alabama ended its 29-game winning streak in the SEC title game.

2. Jalen Milroe
Saban talked about improvement, and one man who developed a lot this season is quarterback Jalen Milroe.
The 20-year-old QB impressed in the game against Georgia with his quick thinking and savvy decision-making, something that the Wolverines never faced in their division. Milroe is both a thrower and a runner, and the opponents will have their hands full come the Rose Bowl.
He struggled in Week 2 but recovered from there under Saban's system. So far, he has thrown for 2,718 yards with 23 touchdowns.
His confidence is sky-high right now after recording 27 points against a tough Georgia defense that typically allows only 23 points.
"Georgia's No. 1 right? You beat the No. 1. team. What does that make us?" he asked reporters after the game.
3. Alabama's resiliency
The Wolverines are the favorites in this pairing, but Alabama is not a pushover. They just need to hang around and grab the win in crunch time. There were five instances in the SEC where they trailed by five points entering the second half and still managed to win.
The game against Georgia is proof of how they were able to recover from a slow start.
Saban will be methodical if the game ever remains close, and Milroe has repeatedly shown that he is not the type to get rattled.
