Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill made headlines Friday after revealing he will cover the fines that a photographer received from the NFL due to his involvement in his touchdown celebration.

Kevin Fitzgibbons, who works for the NFL to shoot Dolphins' home games, participated in Hill's celebration after the latter scored a touchdown earlier this season by handing him his camera. The 20-year-old was fined for jumping on the sidelines after the TD.

"I told him I was going to cover his salary, whatever the NFL was going to pay him or whatever," Hill told ESPN.

"I told him I was going to make sure that I do what's right and take care of you, make sure you're not out of a job. That's my guy."

Hill is one of the more generous players in the league. And he can afford it.

Tyreek Hill's net worth in 2023 can tell that losing a few thousand dollars is okay.

Tyreek Hill Net Worth 2023: $40 Million

Hill is the highest-paid wide receiver right now in the NFL after inking a four-year $120 million deal when he was traded to the Dolphins in 2022.

Celebrity Net Worth puts his book value at $40 million, accumulated from his professional contracts and endorsements.

The 29-year-old was not expected to have a career that he has now. He was projected to go undrafted because of his off-field issue. He was drafted 165th by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016 and became an instant contributor for the team.

His first NFL contract was a four-year, $2.58 million deal with a signing bonus of $70,000.

His salary was raised to almost $20 million annually after signing a $54 million extension in 2019.

With the Chiefs, he earned three First Team All-Pro (another one with the Dolphins) and six straight Pro Bowls since his rookie year. He was crucial to the Chiefs' 2020 Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers.

This made him a valuable asset for the Chiefs. In March last year, he was traded to his current team for a 2022 first-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, two fourth-round picks, and a 2023 sixth-round pick.

The Dolphins hope Hill will help them reach greater heights by investing heavily in him.
