The Toronto Raptors are no stranger to returning from a deficit, even if it is already the fourth quarter. They proved that again when they turned the tables on the Washington Wizards, 111-107, on Monday, November 13.
Pascal Siakam capped the Raptors' comeback against the Wizards, who led by as much as 23 points at one point, Reuters reported. The 29-year-old All-Star converted a critical shot that sealed the win for the Raptors with eight seconds left in the contest.
While it was something the Raptors could brag about, the same could not be said for the Wizards, as it was the third straight game wherein Washington bungled a good lead and lost.

Last-quarter comebacks are nothing new for Raptors
This is not the first time they managed to claw back and win a game.
In 2019, they were down by as much as 23 points when they played the Dallas Mavericks. Toronto dug deep in the payoff period, unloading 47 points while limiting the Mavs to just 21.
Those who joined hands in that comeback win include Kyle Lowry, who had 20 points in the fourth quarter alone and finished the game with 32 points and 10 assists.
Chris Boucher and Terence Davis helped out with 12 and 9 points, respectively, ESPN reported.
Combining that 2019 feat and the recent one against the Wizards, Toronto has two storied comeback-finish in franchise history despite facing a huge lead heading into the final quarter.
