New York Jets' Aaron Rodgers is aching to get back in action, which could happen soon.
The 39-year-old quarterback witnessed the Jets' 27-6 loss to the Chargers on Monday night, November 6, and responded to Chargers' safety Derwin James III on when he would be back in harness.
"A few weeks," Rodgers said to James via Fox News.
This comes not long after the four-time NFL MVP weighed in on when he could rejoin the Jets this NFL season. Rodgers gave his take when he spoke to NBC Sports.

"It's a process, step by step, day by day," the Super Bowl XLV said. "There's some great days, some rough days. But the goal for me is to come back this year."
Rewinding a bit further, an Aaron Rogers return also put up an Instagram post with most believing that he could be back on the field this December.
"A little more time...," he wrote on his Instagram account, which had a photo of a new Zenith watch with the time pointing to 12:28.

Looking at the NFL schedule, the Jets would be playing the Cleveland Browns on that date. However, the post could mean nothing, considering Rodgers has a partnership with the luxury watch brand.
Only Rodgers and the Jets know when the time is right
Regardless of the positivity that Rodgers is showing off, an abrupt return could be detrimental to his overall health.
Rogers continues to progress recovering from a torn Achilles he incurred in the Jets' Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills back in September via ESPN. After undergoing surgery, the 10-time Pro Bowler remains in the recovery stages as he patiently waits for medical clearance to return to action this 2023-24 NFL season.
For now, the Jets rely on Zach Wilson to carry the quarterbacking load. New York is sporting a 4-4 win-loss record and is set to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, November 12.
Even without Rodgers, the Jets are installed as -1.5 spread favorites to win over the Raiders per USA Today.
