The Colorado Buffaloes lost more than a game against the UCLA Bruins, 28-16, on Saturday night, October 28, following reports that items, including jewelry, were stolen from the locker room.
A video by the same team that covers Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders and the team, Well Off Media, was uploaded on Sunday, October 29, on YouTube. In the video titled "Colorado Loses to UCLA: Thieves at Rose Bowl Steal From Colorado's Locker Room," players could be seen gathering around the bus, stating the items that they lost.
One of the players, Buffs linebacker Jordan Dominick, posted his reaction on Twitter.
"Forgive and forget. To whoever snuck into the locker room and stole my chain, as well as my teammates chains, I forgive you and wish you nothing but the best. Hopefully you turn your life around with whatever you get for mine, and you learn from this. It's all love," the 6-foot-3 defensive end stated.
On Monday, October 30, the daughter of Coach Prime, Deiondra Sanders, also posted via Instagram to express her reaction.
"Whoever took it, y'all sad," she rued.
UCLA is reportedly now working with authorities, Rose Bowl Stadium officials, and the University of Colorado about the incident, according to Lisa Derderian, the city's public information officer, per a report by ABC 7.
It was an unfortunate development for the Buffaloes, who are headed home to prepare for their next game against the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday, November 4, per WPRI.
The Buffs have lost four of its last five games and currently tote a 4-4 win-loss record.
