With the Los Angeles Clippers pausing their pursuit of James Harden, the Chicago Bulls have been mentioned as a potential alternative for the disgruntled All-Star player.

The Bulls are seen as the NBA team with the best odds to acquire the 2018 NBA MVP, according to Bovada. The online sportsbook gave the Chicago Bulls a +300 odds to become James Harden's next stop.

However, not all were happy to hear about the suggestion. One mentioned it made sense since the Bulls needed a point guard. But another rued that it made no sense since it would mean adding another ball-dominant player to the roster aside from Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan per Athlon Sports.

It is worth noting that one or both of those ball-dominant players could be included in any potential NBA trade. But LaVine looms as the likely player who could be dealt, per Forbes.

It is no secret that the 28-year-old has been the topic of NBA trade talk for some time now. But would Harden be a better fit?

Bulls in disarray

Also, the Bulls are searching for answers at the moment, with their 2023-24 NBA campaign off to a sour start last Wednesday, October 25.

Chicago suffered a blowout loss at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder, 104-124, in their season opener, and this led to the Bulls holding a players-only meeting in the locker room after the game, per the Bleacher Report.

"You put up a game like this in game 1, you're going to have some conversations. Guys are frustrated and you should be. ... It's a good thing, but sucks that it happened game 1. It happened, and we got to go from there," LaVine told reporters.
