The Texas Rangers are going to the World Series after defeating the Houston Astros in Game 7, 11-4.
This year was the first time the Rangers reached the playoffs since 2016, and now, they are heading to the finals, their first since 2011.
Rangers fans and players have started their celebration, but they may have seen this coming.
Nathaniel Lowe was instrumental in the victory, blasting a two-run homer to extend the Rangers' lead. He felt good about the series-clinching victory. Specifically, he already felt great about the tension-filled Game 7 long before the first pitch was thrown.
Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal asked Lowe about how they were visibly in a good mood the whole night that it became hard not to notice.
"I mean, we believe we're gonna win. We showed up this morning believing we're gonna win from breakfast on," he explained.
They were not arrogantly confident. Lowe added how good the Astros were and that they were ready if the results turned the opposite.
"If they beat us there, then we swallow it and get ready for next year. But we showed up with no fear. We competed til the last out, and we put away a really good team tonight.
Rangers fans react to the victory
It is a feeling Texas fans haven't felt before, so the celebration commenced long before the final sound was heard.
