NFL wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is among those frustrated at the Denver Broncos' struggles. His lack of production is noticeable, and the 15th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft is being floated in the trade rumor mill.

The 24-year-old is aware that being a top pick, expectations are high. He says he is doing his best but can only do so much, Denver 7 reported.

"I am a first-round pick, so people have high expectations of me, and I have expectations, too. I feel like I am doing what I can do and controlling what I can control. I feel like when you are not playing to the standard people are going to talk bad about you, especially when you are losing," the former Alabama star said.

Because of his struggles, Jeudy has caught the attention of former NFL player Steve Smith Sr. The 2005 NFL Comeback Player of the Year branded the former Crimson Tide as a JAG (just another guy) on his podcast, "Cut To It."

Smith did try to apologize for his comment on the NFL Network's "Thursday Night Football," although this included some friendly advice from the five-time Pro Bowler, CBS Sports reported.

Will a trade matter for Jeudy?

Jeudy's trade rumors are swirling because he is not performing accordingly. But as far as he is concerned, he will just be himself, aware that a potential trade deal is beyond his control, NFL.com reported.

"So, trade me or (don't) trade me. It don't matter because at the end of the day I'm going to still be me," the Broncos wide receiver quipped.
