Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has affirmed that he does not plan to change his style of play despite receiving another personal foul penalty in the previous week's match against the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday, October 15.
In five games this season, the 25-year-old has already accumulated five penalties.
"I'm not going to change the way I play.. I'm doing pretty good if I look at it and judge myself knowing how I play and just try to be consistent and have clean hands," the 2020 Pro Bowl selection said in a press conference held on Wednesday, October 18.
Notably, one of these penalties resulted in a fine of $10,927 when he was penalized for unnecessary roughness against Los Angeles Rams defensive back Ahkello Witherspoon during their season opener last month.

Seahawks head coach Pete Caroll has a tactic to reduce penalties
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has introduced a practice of displaying the most penalized players to the team every week.
Despite Carroll's implementation, Metcalf continued reiterating that he will not change who he is as a player or a person with the clamor surrounding him.
Both Metcalf and Carroll attribute the receiver's frequent penalties this season to his competitiveness.
The 2020 Second Team All-Pro selection has amassed 337 yards and secured two touchdowns with 22 receptions in the Seahawks' first five games.
