The Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers continue to discuss transactions involving 2018 NBA Most Valuable Player James Harden.

In the course of these negotiations, the Clippers have introduced a notable condition, specifically, their insistence on keeping guard Terance Mann off the table for the trade.

According to Sixers insider Keith Pompey, Daryl Morey, the President of Basketball Operations for the Sixers, is well aware of this stipulation.

Even with this knowledge, the Sixers' preference persists in favor of a package that includes Mann alongside first-round picks.

The 26-year-old signed a two-year contract extension with the Clippers worth $22 million that will take effect this upcoming campaign. The former Florida State player has been a solid role player for the team over the years.

Clippers do not want to raise offer

The Clippers seek to finalize a deal as soon as possible, offering a first-round pick, a draft-pick swap, and many expiring contracts for the 34-year-old.

They are also uninterested in increasing their offer as they are the sole team pursuing the trade for Harden.

Harden has made it clear that his relationship with the front office is irreparable, and he maintains his desire to be traded out of Philadelphia.

Despite this, the ten-time NBA All-Star has maintained a professional approach, actively participating in team practices in training camp.
