UFC star Conor McGregor was one of the many viewers who watched Dillon Dannis' fight vs. Logan Paul, and "The Notorious" unsurprisingly had good words for his 30-year-old comrade.
In a social media post that has since been deleted, McGregor said he was impressed by Danis's performance, who lost via disqualification after going for a double-leg takedown and attempting a guillotine choke on the WWE superstar, Fox News reported.
Dexerto.com, however, captured a screenshot of McGregor's tweet.
Aside from that, the 35-year-old credited Danis for his efforts and said he just needed to let them go a little bit more. That tweet was also deleted, but the outlet also captured it.
"Are you not entertained?" McGregor started. "Look, I was impressed. Good shots. Need to believe in those shots more and let them go. Some of them were alright. Some of them he was throwing were alright, he just needed to let them go a little bit more."
Logan Paul calls out Conor McGregor
After disposing of Dillon Danis, Paul called out Conor McGregor and even suggested that the Irishman abandoned his boy, CBS Sports reported.
"Hey, Conor McGregor! I took your b*tch, put him on a leash and took him for a walk..." Paul said. "Is that little leprechaun here? Where are you at, Conor? He abandoned Dillon."
It didn't take long for "The Notorious" to respond on social media to Logan Paul.
"He didn't even wobble him. He didn't even hurt him. You little fool. Were you in a dark spot? Guess what, mate. You're back in the dark spot now," McGregor quipped via MMA Fighting.
Looking ahead, Paul is leaving his options open. He has his eyes on Conor McGregor and is allegedly open to facing Danis - this time under MMA rules.
"If Dillon pays me his whole purse like he agreed, I'll agree to my thing and [fight him] in MMA as well," Paul said. "But you saw, I stuffed the takedown, he couldn't choke me out."
