Donna Kelce, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has shared her perspective on the impact of the rumored romantic connection between her son and pop star Taylor Swift on the league.
The "You Belong With Me" singer was in attendance in a Chiefs game for the second straight week on Sunday, October 1, against the New York Jets at the MetLife Stadium, which resulted in a 23-20 victory for Kansas City.
Speaking about those unhappy with the NFL's extensive coverage of the apparent romance, Kelce mentioned that the NFL itself had informed her that her family, which includes Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, has provided the NFL with a lot of favorable publicity.
"All I can tell you is that the NFL is laughing all the way to the bank. It's, like, good for them. They're getting the ramifications of everything," Kelce said during an appearance on the Got It From My Momma Podcast on Friday, October 6, with host Jennifer Vickery Smith.

Donna Kelce can't believe the recent turn of events
The mother of the Kelce brothers shared her feelings of disbelief, particularly while reflecting on recent events, including attending both games with Swift and the whirlwind of the past 12 months, wherein her sons faced off against each other in the Super Bowl LVII.
"I feel like I'm in an alternate universe. It's not the one I grew up in, that's for sure," she added.
