Micah Parsons suffered an injury in the Dallas Cowboys 38-3 win over the New England Patriots in Week 4, although it was initially deemed not serious. Thus, many are asking if Micah Parsons would play in Week 4.

Although Parsons still managed to return in the Cowboys-Patriots game, the real extent of the knee injury needed to undergo the necessary protocols.

The latest update on the two-time Pro Bowler is that he was limited during the Cowboys' practice on Wednesday, October 4, Nick Harris of DallasCowboys.com reported.

However, according to Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy, the All-Pro linebacker is good to go, although it is clear that he is not 100% healthy.

Regardless, the 24-year-old linebacker says he feels great and cannot wait to play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 8, SI.com reported.

"I've been tapped into my mode all week," Parsons said. "I feel great. I'm ready to kind of get after it now ... Cowboys-49ers. There's nothing better."

Cowboys taking huge risks playing injured players

While seeing Parsons in action against the Niners is good news, it also comes with risks. Eight players reportedly missed practice alone. That included CeeDee Lamb, who allegedly had a scheduled rest day for non-injury reasons and a knee issue, per Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

Although he proved to be tough as nails, there is no telling how another hit could worsen the current state of Parsons. Hence, it will be interesting to see how he will perform and be utilized this weekend against the streaking 49ers.
