Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has reacted following the news that his upcoming opponent, British boxer Tyson Fury, has already scheduled his next fight, even though their bout has yet to take place.

The 37-year-old took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter, to voice his thoughts on the matter.

"I have been underestimated and doubted before. We'll see," the Cameroonian-French said while posting a video of his training highlights.

Fury, who currently holds the WBC heavyweight championship, is set to face off against the UFC star in a boxing match scheduled for October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Tyson Fury already has next fight in store

On Friday, September 29, reports emerged that Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have officially signed a contract to square off for the undisputed heavyweight championship, despite the former having a bout on hand later this month.

The British boxer holds the WBC title, while the Ukrainian holds the other three belts in the weight division, namely the WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles.

This highly anticipated megafight is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia, with reports suggesting a tentative date of either December 23 or sometime in January.

The meeting of these two top heavyweight boxers will determine the division's first undisputed champion since 1999, and the winner will be crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era.

Fury posted a photo on X confirming the signing of the bout.
