WBC world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury could not help but feel disappointed at boxing icon Mike Tyson.
The American legend is set to train Fury's opponent, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, for their high-profile boxing clash on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury spoke with Sky Sports, saying he was sad that the man he was named after will be on the opposing side of his upcoming bout.
"The man that I am named after, a legend, has to go against me and then come out as a loser, having lost to a man who was named after him. I think that it's sad and I think that he should be in my corner, not the opposing corner," the 35-year-old said.
However, Fury still understands that Tyson training Ngannou is strictly business and holds no ill against the former undisputed heavyweight champion.

Fury's father, John, revealed a few months ago in front of Tyson that he named his son after the boxing great. Iron Mike was seen being overwhelmed with emotions after hearing the fact.
Fury was born in August 1988, when Tyson was the reigning undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and one of the most famous athletes on the planet.
It is not surprising that the Britsh boxer was named after such a figure, especially with his father being a former fighter and a cornerman himself.
