Following the blockbuster deal that sent star Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo quickly welcomed his fellow NBA 75th Anniversary team member with a resounding message.

"Let's get this f***ing championship," the 2021 NBA Finals MVP said, per an interview with Chris B. Haynes on Bleacher Report.

Antetokounmpo's recent statements had definitely been heard by the Bucks front office, as he said on the 48 Minutes podcast earlier this month that he is determined to secure another NBA championship by any means necessary, and he is open to parting ways with his current team if it leads to that goal.

The two-time MVP also mentioned in an interview with the New York Times last month that while he desires to spend the entirety of his career in Milwaukee, his decision to stay depends on the Bucks maintaining their status as championship contenders and him signing an extension is not guaranteed.

Damian Lillard jersey now available at the Bucks's shop

The team did not waste time putting up Lillard's number 0 jersey for sale at the Bucks Pro Shop at the Fiserv Forum, a mere 24 hours since the trade became official.

The seven-time All-Star's newly minted Bucks uniform was already available at the team store by noon on Thursday, September 28, and it was on display alongside threads of several other key Bucks players such as Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis Jr.
