The Seattle Seahawks are forced to scamper for help after losing multiple plans in Week 1 of their 2023 NFL season. It appears they are open to anything - including the possibility of taking in nine-time Pro Bowler Jason Peters.

The 41-year-old offensive tackle is reportedly set to meet up with the Seahawks, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Although there are questions in the air because of his age, the scribe claims this development is real.

Peters played for the Dallas Cowboys last season and made it known that he still wants to play despite his age. If both sides can agree to a deal, his next stop could be with the Seahawks.

The Seahawks are looking for help after seeing their tackles go down to injury one after the other.

Cross, Lucas questionable for Week 2

Charles Cross hurt his toe in their Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on NFL opening day, while Abe Lucas aggravated a pre-existing knee injury, Pro Football Talk reported.

Both tackles are questionable for the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 when they face the Detroit Lions.

"We're going to go day-to-day once we get back Wednesday and see where we are," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said in a report by Fox 13 Seattle. "Abe came walking in today in the office and he was walking all right now and so we'll hold a good thought. Charles is making it around but it's going to take a little bit before we know."

When asked about the visit of Peters, Carroll responded by saying that the Pro Bowler was not yet there, although he confirmed that they are in talks with the 41-year-old player.

"He's not here yet. So I don't know that until he gets here. But we have talked to him," Carroll said.
