Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Jack Conklin suffered a devastating left knee injury during their season-opening win against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, September 11, 2023.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport said the 29-year-old will undergo an MRI to confirm the extent of the injury, but there is a possibility that he will be out for the remainder of the 2023 NFL season.

Meanwhile, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski added a gloomy update on the condition of the former Michigan State player.

"You hope, but it doesn't look good. I feel absolutely awful for Jack. The person that he is, the player that he is and what he means to this team.. He's such a big part of what we are. We'll hold out hope there," Stefanski said via Kelsey Russo of The Athletic.

Fourth-round pick rookie Dawand Jones replaced Conklin in the game after he was carted off the field.

Jack Conklin recently signed long-term deal with Cleveland

Conklin recently signed a four-year contract extension with the Browns worth $60 million, with $31 million in guaranteed money last December.

The offensive tackle is a two-time First Team All-Pro member. Conklin was selected for the first time during his rookie year in 2016 for the Tennessee Titans, wherein he spent the first four seasons of his career.

Conklin made his second First Team All-Pro in 2020 during his first season with the Browns.
