The NBA All-Star Game will be held on February 16 in New Orleans, and the first set of voting results will be revealed next week yet Miami Heat superstar and reigning four-time league MVP LeBron James may just appear in the said mid-season extravaganza as the East's starting center.

With the league changing its voting format by splitting candidates into two categories-backcourt and frontcourt-the 6'8 James may just find himself starting at center, an idea that caught the Heat superstar a bit shocked.

Asked if he is ready to play center at the All-Star Game by the Bleacher Report, James laughed and said: "Hell no, it hasn't. Oh shoot, are you serious?"

It can be remembered that last year, James and Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony finished 1-2 in the voting for frontcourt players. The third player in voting was Kevin Garnett who didn't take part in the game due to injury. James' teammate Chris Bosh was designated as center after replacing Garnett.

But with the inclusion of Indiana Pacers star Paul George in the frontcourt category (he was a backcourt player last year), things should complicate matters. There's a good chance that James, Anthony and George could end up 1-2-3 in the voting especially with the way the Pacers have dominated the league right now. Anthony remains popular especially playing for a big market team despite the Knicks' struggles, and James, well, is just about the most well-known NBA player right now.

So the chances of James starting as center are actually good. "That is hilarious," James told Bleacher Report. "That is crazy! I would start at center in the All-Star Game? Against Dwight Howard?"

But told that he can be a point center, James was a bit receptive. "I guess so. Some Magic Johnson Finals thing."
