NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana is a treasure that San Francisco will always cherish. However, the 67-year-old football legend who has lived in the city since his retirement will be one of many citizens who will be taking the city of San Francisco to court.
Montana joins several high-profile residents who will file a joint lawsuit against the city stemming from damage related to a storm that hit Marina Boulevard, the San Francisco Standard reported.
The area suffered from flooding and water damage, something blamed on the poor infrastructure of the city, Fox News reported.

"For many years, the city has had actual and constructive knowledge that the sewage and storm drainage system in and around the [Marina Boulevard area] cannot sufficiently handle anticipated conditions and rain events," part of the lawsuit read.
The city has responded to these claims, batting that the storm and rainfall were unprecedented, a reason why the city infrastructure should not be blamed.
GOAT successors
Meanwhile, Montana made a bold claim on who should be his successor as the "Best of All Time."
Although most consider it to be Tom Brady, who has racked up an incredible NFL resume, Montana told Men's Health that Dan Marino should get the title.
"Put Marino into today's game where he gets free release ... and his receivers, holy cow, weren't very big," the four-time Super Bowl champion said.
Also, Montana gave his take on who should get it moving forward. He sees Patrick Mahomes as the one with the most potential, adding that the Kansas City Chiefs QB does many different things compared to other play-callers.
