Odell Beckham Jr. of the Baltimore Ravens was among the players present during a team meeting where rookie Zay Flowers was in the spotlight.
The 22-year-old was the player of the moment at the time, and Flowers was to share his name, the school where he played college football, and how huge his signing bonus was.
When Flowers did, his Raven teammates were left stunned and in disbelief. But the one that caught the attention of many was Beckham Jr., who fell backward and off his chair upon hearing how much the former Boston College Eagle got.

"Zay Flowers, Boston College, $7 million," Flowers said as he held a basketball in the center of the room.
Flowers was the 22nd overall pick of the Ravens and the third wide receiver selected at the 2023 NFL Draft.
He officially signed a four-year $14.03 million deal with the Ravens. This included the signing bonus of $7.08 million, which left the room - particularly Beckham Jr. stunned.

There are heavy expectations on Flowers by the Ravens, an NFL franchise that has never had a Pro Bowl receiver, ESPN reported.
He impressed many people at training camp after showing off his sleek route-running and now-you-see-me, now-you-don't moves in the open field.
With the initial impressions that he left, the Ravens are left to believe that they got a gem of a player, someone who could have a shot at being named the 2023 NFL season's Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Because of his impressive showing, Flowers has already been handed a nickname. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson christened him as "joystick," given after he got past Pro Bowl middle linebacker Roquan Smith.
