Superhuman, phenomenal, legendary - these are just some of the words used to describe Shohei Ohtani, but, of course, he's only human.
And that fact is setting in now as the middle of the second half of the season approaches.
The Los Angeles Angels two-way superstar admitted that he is feeling fatigued now.
He made the admission after their third-game and series-clinching victory over the San Francisco Giants. The Angels are just coming off a six-game skid before the Giants series win that saw them slide to fourth in the AL West.

"I think everyone is going through the peak of their fatigue right now, around this time of the year," Ohtani said after the match.
"I'm not the only one. Going into an off day tomorrow, I'll see how I feel the next day, and if I feel like I need a day or two, I'll talk to the team about it."
Despite his body being spent, Ohtani still delivered sensational and record-breaking plays to assure his team of the win.
Angels get a day off, but Ohtani still feels restless
The Halos are making a playoff push, a stage the team hasn't reached since 2017. Ohtani himself hasn't reached the post-season since arriving in America in 2018.
They get a day off Thursday, but he believes they need to work harder.
"I know it's not extremely high right now, but there's obviously a possibility there [the task]," Ohtani said.
"We're trying our best every game. We're trying to get some wins, and we've got two in a row now."
