Several NFL running backs are in some sort of rebellion, trying to get a better deal this season.

Baltimore Ravens' Melvin Gordon has joined Saquon Barkley, Josh Jacobs, Jonathan Taylor, and more who believe they deserve better financially.

He believes the CBA put players in his position in a situation where they have no other choice but to accept an unfair deal. According to the rules, their salaries will remain unchanged until 2030.

"We're kind of screwed, I feel like, for the next couple years," Gordon said via ESPN.

"So, the only thing we could do is just kind of stack it and just ball out."

Running backs cover more ground than most positions and take more physical hits than others.

However, when it comes to franchise tags, their value is the second lowest before kicker/punter franchise tag.

Gordon also expressed disappointment as if saying the situation would be hard to fix.

"The league is changing, and it sucks to say it's a passing league," he said.

"But you still need a great run game. Let's not get away from that."

Gordon warns kids against becoming RB

Gordon, who joined the Ravens last month on a one-year deal, previously expressed dissatisfaction with the treatment of his position by warning NFL aspirants against choosing RB.

"If you're thinking about playing running back, think twice," he said.

"Unless you really, truly feel like God put you on this planet to run the ball, if you're athletic enough to switch positions, I'd do so in a heartbeat."
