Hollywood actor and former WWE superstar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has made an incredible and unforgettable gesture towards UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo.

The movie star gifted the 31-year-old fighter a fully-furnished house in Miami following his remarkable unanimous decision victory over Takashi Sato at the UFC Vegas 73 event last May.

The Zimbabwean previously lived in a room at the MMA Masters Gym in Miami, sleeping on the couch and setting up personal reminders on the wall containing his reasons for fighting.

After Gorimbo revealed that he only had $7.49 left in his bank account before the fight, Johnson was touched by his story.

The former professional wrestler himself shared that he also had $7 left on his name when he looked at his wallet during his lowest point, and from there on, he decided that "the world would hear from him," and he "would make a dent in the universe."

Themba Gorimbo used proceeds from the auction for their home country

Following his fight with Sato, Gorimbo auctioned off his fight trunks and gloves and raised $7000.

However, instead of using the amount to find a house, Gorimbo used the money to build a bush pump in his village back in Zimbabwe so that the residents could have clean water, according to Johnson.

The Rock also noted that he did not ask for anything during their interactions, driving him to help out the hardworking fighter.
