Cincinnati Bengals' world stood still on Thursday after star quarterback Joe Burrow limped and was carted off the field during their training.

The video of the exact moment the injury occurred is now making the rounds on X, formerly Twitter.

The Bengals were doing a routine set with the play, starting with Burrow. He faked a pass and decided to go right.

That's when he started limping and fell to the ground.

ESPN's Dianna Russini later reported that Burrow had been diagnosed with a calf strain.

Sports Illustrated's update on Joe Burrow's injury revealed that he will miss some time, but he will be fine.

Coach Zach Taylor seems to be feeling optimistic despite the latest setback.

"This is football. Guys go down with an injury," he told reporters after the training.

"This could be a day thing, who knows. There's a lot of guys that had soreness today that had their reps cut down a little bit. That's just part of football in training camp."

Ja'Marr Chase is not worried

Ja'Marr Chase is one of Burrow's closest friends on the team, and fans will be happy about his reaction to the QBs injury.

The wide receiver said he is not worried about Burrow's injury as he was assured by the latter that he is feeling okay.

"We always give each other that nod," Chase said via Paul Dehner Jr. of TheAthletic.com after practice. "He gave me a nod [to say] he's all right. He's a strong dude."
