Andre Iguodala gave a hot take regarding Stephen Curry's status among the all-time greats in any sport.
"Greatest athlete of our time... @StephenCurry30," the 2015 NBA Finals MVP said in a tweet.
Curry recently won the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament, becoming the first active athlete and second basketball player to win the competition.
The two-time MVP had some ridiculous moments during the event, converting a hole-in-one and nearly nailing a one-handed, backward shot that backrimmed the basketball hoop.
Iguodala played for the Warriors for eight seasons in two spells. His first stint in California was from 2013 to 2019, where he won the 2015 NBA Finals MVP during the first title of their dynasty.
After briefly spending time with the Miami Heat, Iguodala returned to Golden State for the 2021-22 season, winning his fourth championship with the team.
Andre Iguodala's status
Iguodala returned to the Warriors for their title defense campaign in 2022-23, signing a one-year minimum $2.9 million contract. He stated that he will retire once the season ends.
The 39-year-old missed the first 39 games due to hip surgery. He fractured his left wrist in March after playing eight games. That proved to be Iguodala's final appearance in a Warriors jersey so far.
Months after the Lakers eliminated the Warriors in the playoffs, Iguodala has not discussed his retirement. He neither confirmed nor denied that he was officially ending his career, and his status remains unclear.
Iguodala is currently a free agent.
