Austin Reaves just signed a massive contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, which is not the only thing he will achieve, according to his coach, Darvin Ham.

Reaves got the bag and has weapons in his bag to be able to shoot his way to the All-Star Game.

Ham sat down with NBA writers Marc Stein and Chris Haynes in their podcast show, and they talked about his coaching gig, the Lakers' next season campaign, and Reaves' rise.

He believes the undrafted player will become among the league's best and eventually get an All-Star nod.

"I'm putting it on record right now; Austin Reaves will be an All-Star at some point soon. I think what you saw with him being invited to be a part of the World Cup team is the first step in that direction," he said.

"Everything you saw him do last year, the kid is a flat-out competitor, one of the greatest human beings you could ever be around."

Reaves new contract speaks a lot about his game leveling up. He recently signed a four-year, $53.8 million deal to stay with the Purple and Gold.

NBA execs, analysts feel the same about Reaves

Some may think that Ham is biased since Reaves is his player, but it is not just him.

The LA Times reported that some NBA executives think the Lakers had a "steal" for locking up the shooting guard for just $53 million.

An NBA Scout, through NBA Analysis, also predicts that Reaves will record at least 20 points per game now that he is his team's third-best player next to Lebron James and Anthony Davis.
