Paul last played for the Phoenix Suns before he was traded to the Washington Wizards as part of the Bradley Beal deal last month. The veteran point guard was subsequently shipped to Golden State shortly in exchange for young star Jordan Poole.
The new backcourt duo posed for a picture and talked briefly as they watched the basketball action. Curry was alongside teammate Jonathan Kuminga when Paul arrived at courtside.
Curry and Paul are widely regarded as the greatest point guards in the sport's history.

Chris Paul officially introduced in Golden State
Paul posed with his new Warriors uniform for the first time the same day, taking his signature jersey number 3, which was previously worn by Jordan Poole. The 12-time NBA All-Star greeted Dub Nation in a short video, saying he is excited to be in The Bay.
The new star acquisition also mentioned that he worked out with Stephen Curry for the first time since 2009.
"Weren't a lot of misses," the 38-year-old described the session.
Paul also said that he has yet to talk with head coach Steve Kerr regarding his place in the rotation since he and Curry are playing the same position. The four-time All-NBA First Team member said they could begin the conversation at the training camp in September.
