Amari Rodgers is entering his third season as a pro, and he believes he is a much better player now than during his time with the Green Bay Packers.

The wide receiver joined the Houston Texans in 2022 and saw limited roles, but he is optimistic that he will excel this season, thanks to what he learned from his veteran teammates in Wisconsin.

"I'm going to my third season, I have a lot of stuff that I've seen with the Packers," said Rodgers.

"I was able to play with Aaron Rogers and Davante Adams the best of the best in the league. I was able to see it and see how they prepared, I took it in every single day and I just took it with me," Rodgers said. "Just knowing that I'm more mature now, I know what it looks like I know what it takes to be successful in the league. I feel like that's definitely gonna help me out."

Rodgers was selected 85th overall by Packers in 2021.

Moving on with Texans from 'bad taste' with Packers

Amari, the son of football coach Tee Martin, is thankful that Houston Texans picked him after being released by the Packers.

He said all he wants to do now is to become a contributor to his team and forget the bad stint with his former team.

"My goal is to help them win. We have a new staff and new everything. Just get to get back on the winning track, turn the city back up and definitely solidify myself in the league as a playmaker. Get the bad taste out of my mouth that I have with Green Bay," Rodgers said.
