The Golden State Warriors have decided to make a shift, which they did by letting go of Jordan Poole, who was integral in their 2022 NBA title run.

Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards two weeks ago, and the Warriors received Chris Paul in return.

CP3 makes it easy for the Dubs to move on, but Poole's contribution to the team cannot be overlooked.

Team superstar Stephen Curry turned to Instagram to pay respect to Poole's contribution to the team and how he became one of the NBA's young stars from the G-League.

"Just [want to] say JP how much I appreciated the four years brother, you're champion," Curry said in the video.

"You grew up right in front of everybody's face. That first year, it was rough with a lot of injuries, and trying to find your way, to going to the G-League and coming back, and helping us finish 15-5 that second year, us winning a championship your third year and fighting to the end this past year. ... I can't wait to see you shine in your own situation.

In the same video, Curry welcomed his former rival CP3 and said it would be different with them on the same side now.

CP3 is the new Splash Brother, with Poole gone

Poole served as the unofficial third member of the Splash Brothers, comprised of Curry and Klay Thompson.

With him gone, it looks like CP3 will take his place. At least based on the story shared by Theo Pinson.

The former Dallas Mavericks shooting guard shared via the Run Your Race show that he was with CP3 when news of the Point God's trade broke out.

They were shooting around, and when CP3's son learned about the trade, Paul suddenly started shooting from the 3-point line, to which Pinson commented, "Oh you a Splash Bro now."
