Former Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant will appear on the cover of two editions of NBA 2K24, the upcoming edition of the best-selling NBA 2K video game series.

The late all-time great will grace the cover of the Kobe Bryant Edition and the Black Mamba Edition of NBA 2K24.

The Kobe Bryant Edition depicts a younger version of Bryant, soaring for a dunk while wearing the number 8 jersey and sporting the afro hairstyle.

Meanwhile, the Black Mamba Edition features a more mature look of the Lakers' all-time leading scorer, taken during the latter stages of his career.

A preview of how the NBA legend will look in the upcoming video game was posted by the NBA 2K on their Twitter page.

It is unclear if Bryant will also be on the cover of the standard edition of NBA 2K24. The video game will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow and will be out in September.

Kobe Bryant Most Prolific NBA 2K Cover Athlete Ever

Bryant has appeared on six total covers in four editions of the NBA 2K video game series, the most ever by a player.

The Lakers legend first appeared as the standard edition cover for NBA 2K10. Bryant's second cover for the video game series was for the Legend Edition of NBA 2K17.

He then appeared twice for NBA 2K21 with two different cover versions of that year's Mamba Forever Edition, the first NBA 2K video game released after his death.

2K Sports will commemorate Bryant by having him in two covers for 2K24, a fitting tribute relating to his iconic jersey number.
