Victor Wembanyama and Britney Spears in one headline that does not even speak of basketball or music?
This does not seem real, but the San Antonio Spurs' 2023 no. 1 draft pick had a brush-up with the pop star after the former's security was accused of backhanding 41-year-old Spears that she fell to the ground.
Wembanyama, 19, spoke to the press shortly after and confirmed an incident with the American celebrity. He said there was someone he thought was a fan behind them, and some pushing did happen.
However, he cleared that he had no idea what was happening.
"I didn't see what happened, because I was walking straight and we were told, 'Don't stop,'" Wembanyama said.
"But that person grabbed me from behind -- not on my shoulder, she grabbed me from behind -- and so I just know the security pushed her away.

"I don't know with how much force, though. But security pushed her away. I didn't stop to look so I could walk in and enjoy the nice dinner."
Was he aware that it was Britney Spears? He said he was surprised to know about that only hours after.
Britney's hubby speaks up
Because "it's Britney, b****!"
Britney's husband, Sam Asghari, reacted to the incident and defended his wife, saying Wemby's security used more than necessary force. However, he spared the rookie NBA player.
"The blame should fall on the coward who did this, the people who hired him without proper vetting, and a systemic culture of disregard for women within sports and entertainment," the Iranian American model said in his Instagram story post.
