Draymond Green reportedly tried to make amends with Jordan Poole after the infamous punching incident that derailed their season, according to Ric Bucher of Fox Sports.

Bucher mentioned that Poole went on a lot of Golden State players' nerves, including Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, and Green was the one who manifested the tensions physically, going overboard.

The anchor of the Dubs dynasty eventually did everything to remedy the situation, but Poole would have none of it.

Logan Murdock of The Ringer reported a similar story about almost all of the Warriors roster having problems with Poole, but he did have a few allies on the team -- Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.

Bucher believed the situation cost Poole the most, saying he blew a chance to learn more from Curry and lead the Warriors in the future by rejecting Green's attempts to fix their relationship.

The 24-year-old guard was traded to the Washington Wizards in a deal that landed veteran point guard Chris Paul in San Francisco last month.

Draymond Green does not choose Jordan Poole

In a TikTok video by Bleacher Report, the veteran Warriors forward was tasked to build a starting line-up from the team that pops up on the screen.

Ironically, the logo of the Washington Wizards appeared, and Green let out a big grin and laugh before asking, "who's still on the Washington team?"

With the shooting guard spot still open, Green could have selected his former teammate Poole, but instead, he chose to put Kyle Kuzma in the power forward position.
